Shelley Evans has spent most of her professional life writing screenplays for television. Her films have aired on CBS, Showtime, USA Network, Lifetime, and Hallmark. She is now revising Ink, her first novel.

She teaches dramatic writing and story development at Harvard Extension School. She has also taught at Fairfield University’s low-residency MFA program and the New Hampshire Institute of Art’s low-residency MFA program, and has been a guest lecturer at Emerson College, Queens University of Charlotte, the University of Nebraska, Lesley University, and the Danish National School of Performing Arts.
